I have a new Server 2012 R2 and have installed SQL Server 2014. We are a very small shop; only 15 users. Performance has never been an issue and our software is purchased from a company in Dallas. I've never had to do anymore than install client updates, and the necessary database changes were made automatically.I've read a lot of articles on moving databases to SQL Server 2014 and frankly I can't seem to decide which method is best? Should I manually enter the security information in the master database then just create the databases and restore from backups, letting Server 2014 perform the upgrades? Or should I use the wizard to handle all of it.This is something that has to be finished before year end so that I can run the necessary closing routines. Any and all suggestions and information would be greatly appreciated!David
