I know you can hot add, but can you hot remove?Assume you setup monitoring to trigger (or perhaps as part of a job itself) the addition of more RAM and cores for a particular intensive workload (monthly ETL or a reporting job, etc, etc...)I'm familiar with adding the cores and RAM, but after the peak workload is finished, can you just take that away?Removing the cores from the affinity list would make sense, but how do you de-allocate RAM specifically?Just lower the max allowed RAM, wait for it to clear out in the VM and then de-allocate it?
