Hi to all. I am in the process of installing SQL Server 2014 on Windows 2012 VM (VMware v5.0.0.469512). SAN is HP EVA4400. I currently have SQL 2005 on Windows 2003. Do I need to do anything special regards the partitions? msinfo32.exe returns: Partition Starting Offset; Disk #0 = 368,050,176Disk #1 = 1,048,576Disk #2 = 1,048,576 etc for all remaining disks. These values are divisible by 4096 so I am thinking I do not need to tweak anything. Any tips advice greatly appreciated. Thanks,Phil.
