Hi Guys,Im trying to install SQL 2014 Express (SQLExprAdv_x64_ENU.exe) on a 64bit Win 7 Pro SP1 laptop.The laptop is a fresh install with all updates, inc .Net Framework 4.5.2After the files extract, nothing seems to happen.On running Setup.exe from the folder created, a UAC message appears asking to make changes. I click yes.A cmd window flashes on screen, then disappears and nothing else happens.There dont appear to be any messages in the Event Viewer.Any suggestions as to how I can get it to install?
