I am a relatively new DBA working for a small 3rd Party Software Vendor. How can we make sure that things like index fragmentation and outdated statistics don't become a problem for our customers. Some of our clients are big enough to have their own IT staff with DBA's, but many of them are not. As we are currently moving toward rewriting our software and redesigning the database structure from the ground up, I was hoping for some guidance in keeping our clients' database querying running smoothly as possible.Thanks in advance!Chris
