Management data wareouse performance issues??

Hi Experts,We are planning to enable MDW on the production servers, however I am worried regarding the performance issues on production servers due to MDW as the management has asked me to install it on all the production servers (no reporting server).Is there any link or document which can tell me whether I should enable it on the production servers or no?Regards,Ashif Shaikh
