Hi AllDoes anyone know if some of the rules for simple parameterization have been lifted?What I mean is, if you submit a trivial enough query to SQL Server, SQL server will automatically parameterize the query so that subsequent queries use the same plans, as long as the queries are the same, except for the literals - This is the way that I understood it. Now, this only works when the subsequent queries are exactly the same (except for the literals), including the same case and spacing. This is how it always worked prior to SQL 2014.I was playing around with 2014 instance and noticed that even when changing case and spacing, the subsequent queries still used the plan. Just something I noticed......
