Hi -I have a volatile OLTP environment on SQL 2014 ENT. I backup the tran log every 15 - the average size of the tran log backup is 82 GB (20.5 GB compressed). I have AlwaysOn configured (async).We're performing a POC with Veritas NetBackup. For the POC, we need to move to weekly full backups, differential backups every XX hours and continue the transaction log every 15 minutes.Top of mind concerns:Currently it takes 5 hours to backup the full databases (to local Flash storage). Veritas wants us to write all the backups to the Veritas on-premise appliance. I'm concerned about the transaction log due to always on and not being able to truncate it during the course of the backup.Veritas agent that runs on the SQL cluster. CPU consumption, etc...So - my question - who is running AlwaysOn with Veritas?Anyone running this type of environment with this type of thru put?
