Hi,IT is my thing, but not SQL.Just about to build a dedicated SQL server for a client, and as their trusted IT guy I need to hand over to the vendor a SQL 2014 ServerI've built a HP DL360 with the P440ar controller, 32GB RAM and I have 4x HP 600GB 12G SAS 15K SFF 2.5IN SC 512e ENT HDD going to be in RAID 10When I create the array I'm confronted with 2 questions I'm confused onAfter doing some research Stripes etc seem to be recommended at 64 for stripe, offset and allocation. My options are as followsStrip Size/Full Stripe Size8KiB/16Kib16KiB/32KiB32Kib/64KiB64KiB/128KiB128KiB/256KiB256KiB/512Kib (selected by default)512KiB/1024KiB1024KiB/2MiBSectors/Track6332 (selected by default)So, you can't just select 64.... and what is KiB anyway ?!?I don't want to get a degree in Sector size, just something that is going to be solid and perform well, and it appears I have some important choices here!Thoughts people??CheersRobert
