Theoretical Question (not really, just me trying different things) SQL 2014 AO

Hi all, newbie to this forum and somewhat to SQL; I've managed SQL, but not to the extent I would have liked to.I setup an SQL 2014 2-node Always-On cluster on Windows 2012 R2 in a VMWare environment. I challenged myself to see if I can leverage VMWare's Site Recovery Manager to bring up my cluster online in a secondary network. Hold the laughter. :)I was able to bring up the WFC after updating the IP, but I found it challenging to change the IP of the availability group.I'm used to Exchange availability groups and changing IPs, but I'm wondering if this is even possible in the SQL world. So while I try to wrap my head around this, I figured I'd ask the community. Is it possible to change the IP of an availability group if it is no longer on the same network the cluster was created on. I checked powershell and I don't see an option to do this. I even looked at failover cluster powershell commands and I thought I could change the resource parameter, but I never got it execute properly.I'm not looking for a this is how you do it, I'm more interested in understanding how AO works with availability groups and DR scenarios. The reason I started thinking about this is for non-critical systems that have a 2 node AO cluster. We backup our VMs with VEEAM and I was proposing that in the event of a disaster, we could just recover from that backup because it's just a VM restore. When I tried I ran into the availability group IP issue, which is why I'm reaching out.Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
