HiI have an SQL Server on a VM which experienced a very high block of Network IO wait time for a period late last week.The data files are on a Netapp Filer SSD and what I want to know is if the Vm has only one network adaptor (no teaming allowed according to the team that runs the Vm servers) can the io to the storage flood the adaptor to block the network IO to the client? It seems logical to me that this would be true.It was observed due to an incident a team leader had with the "specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 8" arising Pointers to how to isolate this and what has been your best tools to identifying the source of this sort issue as free Spotlight whilst useful has a limit to what it is good for.
