Are there any implications regarding installing a named instance of sql2014 onto a box with sql server 2008 installed as the DEFAULT instance. To be clear, this is not sql2008R2 but SqL2008.I am aware that some components are shared, but was worried about things being incompatible with such a major difference in versions.Can anybody offer any thoughts on this ?
