Hi all,I have setup SQL agent alert for event 1480 (alwaysON role change) just earlier on.3 days back, I have performed alwayson failover quite several time.5 days back, I have also performed alwayson failover. With the alert set, I received 4 email notifications for the failover which I have done on 3 days back but there are actually more than just 4 (1480 events) 3 days back as I perform failover several times. The 4 notifications received are the last 4 (1480) events logged. So this bring me to the pointa) how far back does sql agent look into the application log and decide whether to send or not send notification for a matching event ?b) how does sql agent prevent itself from relooking/sending an event which it has already send ?Regards,Noob
