Hello,I have SQL 2014 EE on Windows server 2012 R2. Trying to configure SQL Mail but getting this error below.I use this Steps to configure the profile --http://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertip/1100/setting-up-database-mail-for-sql-2005/The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 1 (2014-08-18T11:20:59). Exception Message: Cannot send mails to mail server. (Failure sending mail.).)I had to install IIS from server Manager --> Add Roles (I chose all default options)I did that using this link -- http://www.iis.net/learn/get-started/whats-new-in-iis-8/installing-iis-8-on-windows-server-2012With that I can see IIS 6.0 was installed on my machine.I did this test for SMTP server and its working fine. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/323350?wa=wsignin1.0I also allowed 127.0.0.1 and server's IP address in SMTP Relays but not sure whats wrong.The error message above is very unclear of the problem.Please let me know if any one has any idea.
