Backup Strategy compromised?

Hi all, I hope I can get some thoughts about backups.I have been reading up and I know this :-When in a Full Recovery Model, and Log Backups are being taken, then another Full backup will not compromise the Log backup chain. That's all good.I now have a scenario thus :-Full Recovery Model Daily Full and Hourly Log Backups (this is 3rd party tool and off site - all good and safe)Now the customer would like to also have copies of the DB so they can run MI on another server. They have now requested Weekly Full with Daily Differentials (local so we can ship the files to them)I know the new Full backup for the Differential will make the Differential Base, but then the next Daily Full on the 3rd Party tool will then mean the differential chain is broken.Or have I misunderstood somewhere? My compromise would be to change the 3rd party to Weekly Full only and just log backups, with the Full for the Differential done AFTER the 3rd party Full so as not to break the diff chain. It's a bit of a pickle of trying to supply the customer what they want, BUT also ensure I have the PIT recovery in case disaster etc.Anyone been unlucky enough to have an odd scenario like this who had a brilliant solution they could point me towards? Thanks G
